Hosts with character

PIP’s Horst is run by Manfred and Antonia Pip.

Two people who share a love of nature and hospitality. Walks, moments of tranquillity in nature and culinary delights: we wanted this to be reflected in our guest house.

After fulfilling careers as a surgeon and a fashion consultant, PIP’s Horst was the fulfilment of our dream , creating a place where people can enjoy each other’s company, while still having their own space .

Our guest house isn't merely managed – it's a living, breathing space. We believe that being a host is all about attention to detail. Presence when needed, and discretion when peace and quiet are preferred. Social interaction based on respect and trust.

A name with meaning

PIP’s Horst embodies its philosophy in its name

Our surname, Pip, sounds like a bird chirping. Horst – meaning eagle's nest – refers to the house's elevated position offering sweeping views over the surrounding area. And dropping the ‘r’ from Horst gives you the English word host.

We wanted to create a place where people can find peace and quiet. Arrive, take a deep breath and savour the moment.

Our guest house is easily accessible, right next to the motorway but in the heart of the East Belgian countryside. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by spectacular views of the garden and the expansive surrounding countryside.

We believe in simplicity. In honest service. And in quality that need not be brash, but is self-evident.
