Immerse yourself in nature

PIP’s Horst is situated in the heart of the green countryside of the Eifel-Ardennes region in East Belgium.

Rolling hills, green meadows and peaceful woods define the surrounding area. And yet the guest house is easily accessible and simple to find despite its tranquil location. A place to get away from it all without having to travel far.

The generous garden, the open countryside and the fresh air provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind. A place where there's no rush and everything you need is there.

Pleasure in its purest form

Local produce, authentic flavours and time around the table are an integral part of the experience we offer.

If they wish, our guests can start their morning with a breakfast featuring carefully selected regional produce. Fresh, wholesome, simple and delicious.

Dinner can be served in the evening on request, prepared personally by your host using seasonal ingredients, with subtle flavours and a selection of wines to complement the meal. Of course, we take individual preferences and dietary requirements into account. The kitchen remains deliberately under the host's control. The outdoor kitchen is not available for general use, either.

The region is also well worth exploring. There are numerous restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding area, ranging from down-to-earth fare to Michelin-starred cuisine. We are happy to give personal recommendations for special places nearby.

Wellness, water, warmth

For us, wellness is about letting go and consciously winding down.

Our guest house has a sauna and a hammam, both available on request. Warmth, steam and tranquillity create the perfect setting for relaxation. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available. A relaxation room and a sensory shower further enhance the experience.

There is a refreshing natural swimming pool in the garden. It is unheated, crystal-clear and surrounded by lush greenery; guests also have access to sunbathing areas and quiet, secluded places. Somewhere to cool off, settle back and unwind.

Activities

Spend an active break in our summer house and garden.

The summer house in the garden offers a view of the outdoor surroundings. A large glazed front allows nature in. A place to relax, read or sit together. Table tennis and billiards offer a welcome change of pace, whilst a log fire provides warmth and a cosy atmosphere on quieter days.

The garden offers plenty of space for activities, too. A boules pitch awaits interested players. Simple, convivial and just the thing for a relaxing afternoon.

Explore the region

This is where the Eifel reveals its tranquil side. But that doesn't mean it's boring.

There are many well-signposted hiking trails (trail intersections, GR long-distance trails etc.), cycle paths (RAVeL network, including the Vennbahn) and mountain bike trails (such as the Stoneman Arduenna) right on our doorstep that wind through the East Belgian Eifel and the High Fens natural park. Through forests, over hills and across sweeping landscapes.

There are secure, locked bike storage facilities available, as well as a large shower next to the entrance area, which is also suitable for cleaning bikes and equipment. Sports gear can be washed on request.

But there’s plenty to experience away from nature, too. Concerts, museums and cultural venues such as the Triangel offer a wealth of options. In addition, there are small towns and unique places that invite you to linger.
